about My name is Jam, and I'm an adult. I love to read, write, cook, bake, daydream, and play video games, and I've been living inside my own head since I was a kid. I don't believe in god or subscribe to any religion, but I'm extremely spiritual. I only believe in sending forward the good vibes. My primary self-insert is named Katinka, and she's essentially "me". She is the first time I've truly enjoyed a sona character. She has her own page here where you can find out more about her.I love to make friends but I'm very shy and sometimes struggle to reach out. I'm trying to work on this.Social media and being active intermittently takes a toll on my mental health. I will occasionally take unannounced breaks. Don't assume I've left permanently unless I make an announcement about it. I just get overwhelmed and sometimes need a break from being present. *about katinka

miscellaneous Katinka is my most frequently-used self insert and the one that is most closely a representation of me. her powers and abilities will vary depending on the universe she is in and how they fit the world. the list here merely represents her at her most powerful, as the dreamweaver. one day i may make a more in-depth list of her powers (but currently I am too lazy). she is an indulgent mish-mash of all the concepts i adore.

TWISTED WONDERLAND (Ramshackle) ✦  18 years old, a member of Ramshackle dorm. Not known to have a magical predisposition, but notably has quite the deft hand with animals. Living creatures seem very calmed in her presence and she appears to be able to communicate with them. Officially a member of the equestrian club, but can occasionally be found at the film research club or board game club as well. Her memory of the events surrounding the circumstances as to how she first entered Twisted Wonderland is strangely hazy. She was accompanied out of the coffin by her beloved cat, Silver.GENSHIN IMPACT ✦  orphic raconteur. originally called Dziewanna, she was a vila of the Snezhnayan forests. As the country became colder and more foreboding, people eventually forgot about her and her kin and stopped leaving offerings. Unable to exist in such a cold and loveless place, she chose to leave. Though she poses as a human novelist with a dendro vision, animals can still see her true form. She took on the name Katinka Kochanowski — Kochanowski coming from the word "love" or "dear", to remind her of how her homeland used to be the land of love. Eventually, her travels take her to Fontaine.LOVE & DEEPSPACE ✦  after her biological family is killed by wanderers, she swears to avenge them. eventually, she graduates as a hunter. she has an intrinsic and ineffable bond with her adoptive brother, caleb. she has a cat named silver who unbeknownst to her is a krellkin: an alien with a pocket dimension within his body, able to swallow almost anything to later spit them out. katinka eventually learns that her grandmother, the lady who adopted her after the death of her family, is actually a scientist and that her strange "heart" may be more than just a health condition.FINAL FANTASY XIV ✦  the soul alchemist. Originally a protector of the forests on the First, known by the moniker Dziewanna. She falls through a rift during the flood and upon waking finds herself on the source. she is taken in by a miqo'te moon keeper tribe, and plays off her confused ramblings as the vivid dreams of an amnesiac. A chance encounter with a scholar inspires her to make the journey to Sharlayan to try to find more answers about what happened to her. Her studies lead her to becoming a researcher in all things related to souls, aether, voidsent, and the shards. she is writing a book entitled the alchemy of souls.IKEMEN VILLAINS (KATINKA) ✦  the fairytale keeper. Eking out a peaceful life as a mailwoman, Katinka finds herself in a sticky situation when she accidentally witnesses an assassination by the queen's secret organisation, Crown. The leader, Victor, suggests that she prove her loyalty and silence by acting as their "fairytale keeper", recording the deeds of Crown's members for the queen. Katinka is most drawn to Elbert, and he to her. Wondering why he is so fixated on finding "the most beautiful thing in the world", she doesn't realise that growing closer to him might just lead to her becoming his new obsession.HONKAI STAR RAIL ✦  a young vila from the city Piekaruń located on planet nawia. She journeys to Xianzhou, hoping to find an elixir of eternal life. Instead, she has a run in with Kafka of the Stellaron hunters, who promises that they can grant her what she seeks. she is recruited to the group primarily as a medic and cook. initially horrified by blade's wish to die, she begins to see just how much he suffers, and realises that prolonging his longevity is nothing more than cruelty. she makes the bittersweet vow to find a way to give him the eternal rest he craves — the true reason for kafka and elio's interest in her.WUTHERING WAVES ✦  a ballerina living with her mother Yuliya, a surgeon, in New Federation. When Yuliya gets deathly ill with a strange disease, Katinka secretly employs the assistance of Calcharo to get money for the cure. A few months later, Yuliya is relocated to Jinzhou due to a shortage of doctors there. Katinka comes with her, and despite her initial trepidation, finds that she is quite popular as a ballet dancer. The locals affectionately call her Baoyu, which she hesitantly takes as a stage name. She achieves far greater heights of fame and recognition than she ever could in New Federation.TOKYO DEBUNKER ✦  Ritsuka doesn't often go to concerts, but the last performance of her favourite band is an exception. On the way home from the concert, she bids farewell to other fans slowly leaving the group chat when one of them suddenly asks to meet her. More than a bit creeped out, she refuses, and suddenly gets attacked by a strange monster. What follows are a series of events that lead her to being taken to Darkwick Academy, where she's told that the creature that had attacked her was a demon. And the worst part of it all is that it's placed a curse on her. She'll die in a year unless Darkwick Academy can save her.

TWISTED WONDERLAND (octavinelle) ✦  18 years old, a third year transfer student into octavinelle and a member of the equestrian club. her family hails from the land of amber. as both her parents are researchers in styx, katinka had the privilege of growing up together with idia shroud. her unique magic is called "once upon a dream" and pertains to illusions and the imagination. homeschooled for her entire life, her foray into night raven college is the first time she's ever been away from home for an extended period of time. she's doing her best to fit in but finds the transition to be a bit overwhelming.OVERWATCH ✦  soulstitcher. A scientist originally hailing from Poland whose main focus of research and study are souls, alternate realities, and other such spiritual and esoteric concepts. Katinka encountered Niran while he was on the run from Vishkar, and housed him for a while. They became friends during this time and he was quite supportive and enthusiastic of her field of research. Unfortunately, they were forced to part ways once it was evident Vishkar was getting a little too close. They don't reunite again until some time later, after they have both joined Overwatch.BALDUR'S GATE 3 ✦  a young half-elf druid, a part of the circle of the land. She is abducted by mind-flayers and infected with a strange tadpole. Managing to escape the illithid ship with Lae'zel and Shadowheart, she sets off on a journey to figure out how to remove their tadpoles and stop their transformation into one of the creatures that attempted to enslave them. Along the way, they meet Gale and Astarion, and become embroiled in a series of events that lead them far from home. In particular, she becomes closest to Shadowheart, and slowly begins to learn of the secrets the Shar cleric holds close to her heart.OBEY ME ✦  An ordinary young woman who finds herself in the Devildom. Lover of cats and all things cute. Lucifer did not trust Katinka at first, initially believing her naive nature to be some sort of trick or ploy. However, once he realised she was genuine and not putting on an act, he began to tolerate and even enjoy her presence a lot more, which lead to them growing closer. he became quite protective of her quite quickly and enjoys their quiet chats together, finding her presence peaceful. I'm not really in the fandom anymore, however I still have a soft spot for Lucifer as he was the first character I consciously yume'd with.IKEMEN VILLAINS (KAZIMIRA) ✦  the fairytale keeper. Kazimira is a young mailwoman at the end of her rope. Coming out of self-isolation for the first time in a few weeks leads to her unwittingly stumbling upon Crown, the queen's secret organisation, in the middle of an assassination mission. Instead of killing her, the leader, Victor, suggests that Kazimira take on a one month stint of acting as their "fairytale keeper" and recording their deeds for the queen to prove her loyalty and silence. One of Crown's members, Ellis, becomes peculiarly fascinated with Kazimira and her melancholy, and vows to try to make her happy.LOVEBRUSH CHRONICLES ✦  a young artist and writer, publishing manga on the internet. She's managed to gain quite a bit of renown, even capturing the attention of a publisher interested in creating physical copies of her work. She enrolls in St. Shelter Academia to further her knowledge of art. She adopts a white cat, who she names Milo. Shortly after coming to the Academia, Katinka discovers that the worlds she writes about actually seem to exist in some form, and she's able to travel to those worlds.
